What Are You Looking For?

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you the one who installs the solar panels, or are you just a mediator?

Yes, we have in-house installation experts. We don't hire anyone else to do the installation for us. We also have a service and technician team on staff.

Do you have any solar battery backup/storage systems for sale?

We are an Enphase Certified Installer. If you're contemplating battery backup and storage, give us a call now to schedule a consultation so we can properly size your system and provide you with a quotation.

During a solar consultation, what happens? How long will the meeting last?

A solar consultation is an opportunity to gather all of the information we need to ensure that your solar system is ideally designed for your home and ask any questions about going solar. Your Solar Consultant will study your power usage, ask questions about anticipated changes in energy consumption, and assess your goals and expectations for your solar system during the virtual or in-home visit. Once the consultant gets this information, they will provide an estimate for the plan that best meets your solar needs, considering the financing/purchase options you've indicated you're interested in.

Consultations typically take an hour or two but vary depending on the client's questions.

What if I don't want solar panels installed on my roof?

Instead of standard roof-mounted solar panels, a few homeowners have chosen ground-mount solar panels. Ground-mount systems are popular among homeowners who have larger homes or roofs that are unusual or vulnerable.

Will solar power effectively eradicate my electric bill?

After your basic solar system has been designed, your solar consultant will meet you to discuss your expectations. To help you understand what your new electric bill might look like, they'll consider the percentage reduction in your energy charge from solar, which utility provider you're linked to, and much more. EcoPros cannot promise utility credit extra solar generation, fees, inflation rates, or anything else; therefore, financial savings cannot be guaranteed. However, we will attempt to use our predictive models to design a system that you would like.

Is it necessary to notify my homeowner's insurance company when installing solar?

Yes, we advise you to do so. While it is not needed, your homeowner's insurance coverage may cover your solar from acts of nature. When you add solar to your coverage, your premium may go up.

What kinds of roofs are you able to install on?

We are experts in installing solar on a variety of rooftops. We have completed roof installations using curved and flat concrete tile, asphalt shingles, flat foam, metal, and clay tile.
